Bückeburg is 10 minutes short from our house and has in addition to the highly worth seeing castle of the Princes of Schaumburg-Lippe to offer the only helicopter museum in Germany. A must-have for techies and their offsprings...

In the castle there are regular and rewarding tours - the spacious park is equipped with a very nice beer garden, where there are occasional live acts.

Another gem is the Evangelical church Bückeburg with a magnificent Baroque facade - see for yourself.
